Throwback Dwarves by Nags187

Format: Commander

Commander: Dáin of the Ancient Halls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dain of the Ancient Halls leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal deck focused on swarming the battlefield and converting board presence into direct damage. The commander provides immediate board impact thanks to haste and vigilance, triggering an ability that burns each opponent whenever he attacks for damage equal to your Dwarf count. The deck curves low-cost Dwarves into midgame tribal payoffs such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Cathars' Crusade to amplify damage output. Secondary win paths include assembling twenty artifacts for Hellkite Tyrant via Treasure generation or executing unblockable alpha strikes using Dwarven Bloodboiler and evasion equipment.
