Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is the engine and win condition: the deck makes her unblockable, attacks to stack extra upkeep steps, and uses those upkeeps to trigger Descent into Avernus, Court of Ire, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and other upkeep payoffs. The primary kill is Descent into Avernus plus extra combat spells (Full Throttle, Overpowering Attack, World at War) to chain multiple combats and upkeeps in one turn, with Smaug the Magnificent and The Reaver Cleaver as a treasure-based backup. Secondary paths are monarch drain from Court of Ire/Court of Cunning and incremental value from Phyrexian Arena, Stormfist Crusader, and Plargg and Nassari. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around Obeka's trigger.
