Deck overview

This Azorius build is a tap-matters tempo deck. Hylda of the Icy Crown converts each tap of an opponent's creature into a choice of a 4/4 Elemental, a team-wide +1/+1 counter, or card draw. The primary path is to deploy Hylda early, fill the board with cheap tappers and tap instants, then overwhelm with tokens while Opposition and Junk Winder keep blockers tapped. The secondary path uses Geist of Saint Traft and Hammers of Moradin for evasive pressure, plus Sharae of Numbing Depths as a pseudo-commander that draws cards off the same taps. Counterspells, bounce, and instant-speed tap effects protect the board and buy time for the token army.
