Deck overview

This Abzan Food/lifegain deck is built around the partner pair Sam and Frodo. Sam makes a Food each combat, while Frodo uses early life gain to tempt the Ring and draw extra cards. The primary plan is to multiply Food, Treasure, and Clue generation with Bilbo, Peregrin, and Academy Manufactor, then convert those tokens into card draw and life, and close out with Mirkwood Bats and Sanguine Bond drain or a giant Feasting Hobbit/ Banquet Guests beatdown. Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant offers a late-game 'search your deck' finisher once the life total climbs. Board wipes and targeted removal back up the engine, and Gyome plus Teferi's Protection keep key creatures alive.
