b4 test vivi

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Vivi Ornitier as a growing mana engine and ping source. You cast cheap cantrips and rituals to put counters on Vivi, generate mana equal to its power once per turn, and deal 1 damage to each opponent per noncreature spell. Redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, Kessig Flamebreather and Longshot multiply that damage, while Ghyrson Starn doubles Vivi triggers and Artist's Talent adds cost reduction and extra damage. Birgi and cost reducers let you chain spells, and Past in Flames or Mizzix's Mastery rebuild the graveyard into a storm turn that finishes with Grapeshot. Niv-Mizzet, Parun acts as a hidden commander for the Curiosity draw-damage loop.
