Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy build centered on Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The core game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2, then deploys efficient high-power creatures like Gigantosaurus and Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig to reduce Ghalta's casting cost down to {G}{G}. Ghalta enters as a massive 12/12 trampler on Turn 4, presenting an immediate clock. The deck translates high board power into substantial card draw using The Great Henge, Rishkar's Expertise, and Garruk's Uprising, allowing it to maintain momentum while applying pressure. Combat finishers like Pathbreaker Ibex, God-Eternal Rhonas, and Triumph of the Hordes help close out the table. While the deck boasts high redundancy in large creatures and quick recovery from board wipes, its interaction is largely limited to permanent removal and its combat strategy gives opponents multiple response cycles to answer threats.
