Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir control and aristocrats strategy led by Toxrill, the Corrosive. The primary game plan focuses on developing mana rocks and lands during the early turns to cast Toxrill by Turn 6. Once on the battlefield, Toxrill acts as an escalating creature wipe, placing slime counters on every opponent's end step. As opposing creatures shrink and die, Toxrill creates 1/1 black Slug tokens that provide continuous card advantage and fuel aristocrat sacrifice engines. The deck protects its commander using cheap hexproof, shroud, and totem armor spells like Dive Down, Lightning Greaves, and Kaya's Ghostform. Victory is achieved by attacking with an overwhelming Slug army buffed by Coat of Arms or draining the table with Syr Konrad, the Grim, Dreadhound, and Massacre Wurm.
