Deck overview

This deck is an optimized aggressive combat-cheat build helmed by Kaalia of the Vast. The core game plan focuses on deploying Kaalia on turn 3 using early mana rocks, immediately following up with an attack on turn 4 to drop massive, game-warping Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly into combat without paying their mana costs. Key threats such as Master of Cruelties can eliminate an opponent out of nowhere, while damage multipliers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Terror of Mount Velus quickly overwhelm the entire table. The list features a strong suite of low-cost interaction to answer opposing threats, as well as robust protective spells like Teferi's Protection, Grand Abolisher, and Flawless Maneuver to ensure Kaalia attacks safely. While heavily reliant on its commander to achieve maximum mana efficiency, alternate routes such as Quicksilver Amulet and hardcast top-end fliers provide dependable backup lines.
