Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis wheels and forced-draw burn strategy led by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan accelerates into Nekusar or an equivalent damage punisher like Fate Unraveler or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, then casts mass-draw and wheel spells such as Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Echo of Eons. Each wheel forces every player to discard and draw seven cards, dealing heavy burst damage across the entire table while disrupting opposing hands. Value engines such as Waste Not and Bone Miser turn opposing discards into mana, zombie tokens, and fresh cards to chain multiple spells in a single turn. The deck's main strengths lie in its high burst potential, symmetric card flow, and redundant draw-punishment effects. However, it lacks counterspells and dedicated protection, leaving Nekusar vulnerable to removal. Furthermore, giving opponents fresh hands of seven cards regularly supplies them with the exact removal needed to disrupt the deck's board.
