Deck overview

This deck leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex to double every spell cast from prepared creatures. By deploying cheap creatures that enter the battlefield prepared, the deck converts their adventure-like spell faces into doubled effects for massive tempo. Turn 1 and 2 ramp sets up Codie on turn 3, followed by key Magecraft engines on turn 4. Once untapping on turn 5, casting doubled rituals like Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song produces massive mana bursts while Archmage Emeritus and Vega, the Watcher draw through the library. The game closes on turn 6 through recurring Magecraft drain from Witherbloom Apprentice, Guttersnipe, or a lethal doubled Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. While the deck is vulnerable to creature removal and board wipes, high functional redundancy and strong card velocity ensure rapid rebuilding and high late-game inevitability.
