Deck overview

This Grixis deck blends an efficient spellslinger storm combo with an aggressive Orc Amass midrange strategy led by Saruman, the White Hand. The primary win condition revolves around resolving Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, and Brain Freeze to mill the entire library and eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. Backing this plan is a top-tier fast mana core featuring Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring, along with premier card engines like The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Mystic Remora. Free interaction spells including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick protect early setup and disrupt opposing threats at zero mana cost. If the primary combo is contested, the deck seamlessly pivots to an imposing board presence by casting noncreature spells to amass a giant ward-protected Army token, closing games with Assault on Osgiliath, Sauron, the Dark Lord, or a massive Peer into the Abyss swing.
