Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats build helmed by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. It aims to assemble a recurring engine of small creature tokens, lifegain triggers, and sacrifice outlets to gradually drain opposing life totals. The mana base runs 33 lands with Sol Ring as its sole dedicated artifact ramp piece, resulting in an unaccelerated on-curve deployment. The game plan relies on natural card flow from cards like Welcoming Vampire and reanimation spells to maintain presence. Without fast mana, tutors, or infinite combos, the deck applies incremental pressure through combat and death triggers, aiming to close the game in the double-digit turns using big finishers such as Martial Coup, Soul of Eternity, or extort cascades from Pontiff of Blight.
