Fire Nation Attacks by ModifiedNerd2.0

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King is both the deck's mana battery and its finisher. His firebending attack adds four red, while his replacement effect turns any unspent mana into red that persists, letting the deck bank mana and chain extra combat steps. The primary plan is to land a six-mana firebender engine-Ozai or Avatar Roku, Firebender-then use Aggravated Assault or another extra-combat effect to take many combats and finish with 21 commander damage to each opponent. Backup paths use Doubling Cube and banked red for Crackle with Power or Comet Storm. The Legend of Roku // Avatar Roku acts as a hidden second commander and redundant engine.
