Deck overview

This deck is an explosive creature storm and Eldrazi stompy strategy led by Animar, Soul of Elements. The game plan accelerates on Turn 1 with dense 0–1 CMC mana dorks, casting Animar on Turn 2. On Turn 3, low-cost creatures and card-draw engines like Beast Whisperer, Elemental Bond, and Kozilek's Unsealing rapidly accumulate +1/+1 counters on Animar, dramatically reducing the generic mana costs of subsequent creature spells. By Turn 4, the deck achieves critical onset by either executing an infinite loop with Ancestral Statue to create an arbitrarily large commander and draw the entire library, or by dumping colossal Eldrazi titans such as Void Winnower, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Ulamog, the Defiler for near-zero mana. Supported by eight haste enablers, these threats deliver crushing combat damage and Annihilator triggers, closing the game by Turn 5.
