Mill - DEV

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mindskinner

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 30

Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck transforms combat damage into symmetric table-wide mill using its commander, The Mindskinner. Because The Mindskinner is inherently unblockable and possesses 10 power, every combat phase strips 10 cards from each opponent's library simultaneously. The surrounding 99 supports this primary clock with efficient cantrips, flexible countermagic, and dedicated 1-mana protection spells designed to shield the commander's fragile 1-toughness body. High-power secondary threats like The Terror of Serpent's Pass and Sphinx Mindbreaker accelerate the mill clock, while Multiversal Incursion and Fraying Sanity multiply graveyard impact. Although the deck lacks fast combo lines and creature tutors, it maintains reliable board presence through defensive tax pieces like Propaganda and closes games around Turn 8 through accumulated mill attrition.
