Deck overview

This Naya Landfall deck is commanded by Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor, focusing on aggressive land-scaling and +1/+1 counter synergies. The game plan centers on ramping early to deploy Obuun on Turn 4, using landfall triggers to grow creatures while turning lands into trampling beaters during combat. In the midgame, high-impact landfall anchors such as Omnath, Locus of Rage, Rampaging Baloths, and Emeria Angel flood the board with creature tokens, while cards like Abzan Falconer and Return of the Wildspeaker provide evasion and lethal combat buffs. The deck runs a robust land count of 43 lands to ensure consistent land drops and engine triggers. While vulnerable to mass exile and lacking hard tutor packages, the deck maintains substantial resilience through independent finishers like Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar and mass graveyard recovery from Sun Titan and The Mending of Dominaria.
