Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic landfall strategy piloted by Tatyova, Benthic Druid. The deck's primary goal is accelerating mana through land-searching sorceries like Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, and Skyshroud Claim, turning land drops into continuous card draw and life buffer once Tatyova enters the battlefield. With over 20 ramp effects, the deck consistently develops an enormous mana base that remains resilient against standard artifact and creature sweepers. In the late game, the deck converts this mana advantage into victory either by generating a massive trample Dinosaur army using Thundering Spineback, repeatedly bouncing opposing boards with Capsize, or stumbling into an infinite flicker loop featuring Peregrine Drake, Archaeomancer, and Ghostly Flicker targeting Sunscorched Desert. While it features a healthy suite of instant-speed interaction and countermagic, its lack of nonland tutors and low-cost protection spells means it operates at a deliberate, battlecruiser pace vulnerable to aggressive fast combo decks.
