Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros kindred and Equipment aggro deck led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, efficient Dwarves in the early turns, establishing Equipment and artifact mana, and casting Thorin on Turn 4. Thorin's entry and subsequent Dwarf deployments generate a large stockpile of Treasure tokens, scaling the power of the entire Dwarf army through Thorin's static anthem. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal combat lines using double-strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and Akroma's Will or reach from Chandra's Ignition. Supporting tools like Sunforger, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Dwarven Recruiter provide strong functional access, while defensive staples like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm shield the creature board against mass removal.
