Deck overview

Iron Man, Titan of Innovation leads an explosive Izzet artifact combo-control strategy tuned for competitive Commander. The deck uses format-ceiling acceleration like Mishra's Workshop, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox to deploy Iron Man on Turn 2 or 3. With built-in flying and haste, Iron Man attacks immediately to generate Treasure and pod low-cost artifacts into vital combo and utility pieces. The primary win condition chains infinite extra turns through Esoteric Duplicator, Krark-Clan Ironworks, and Ugin's Nexus. Sacrificing Ugin's Nexus to Ironworks grants an extra turn while Duplicator creates a fresh token at each end step. Sacrificing that token before the turn ends ensures the upcoming extra turn is never skipped, allowing Iron Man to eliminate all three opponents through uninterrupted combat. Meanwhile, asymmetric stax pieces such as Cursed Totem and Torpor Orb shut down opposing wins, and premier free countermagic flawlessly protects the combo.
