Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Naya landfall and creature-combat list led by Toph, the First Metalbender. It leverages cheap mana ramp to deploy Toph ahead of curve, converting lands and artifacts into resilient hasty attackers that return to the battlefield if removed. The primary strategy compounds this pressure using landfall powerhouses like Felidar Retreat, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Scute Swarm, finishing opponents with the explosive combat steps of Moraug, Fury of Akoum or double strike from Toph, Greatest Earthbender. Built-in earthbend recursion makes its board state exceptionally sturdy against traditional sweepers. As an alternate win condition, the list can tutor an infinite combat loop using Aggravated Assault and Bear Umbra. Supported by cheap spot removal and efficient protective instants like Dawn's Truce and Deflecting Swat, the deck maintains aggressive tempo while outpacing opposition in creature combat.
