Deck overview

This is a Selesnya lifegain-tokens midrange deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The plan is to flood the board with creatures and tokens, convert every ETB into life via Trostani and redundant gain engines, then cash that life into overwhelming board presence through counters, populate, and haymakers. Primary wins are go-wide or Voltron-style combat (pumped by Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, Blossoming Bogbeast, and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn), backed by Storm Herd, Aetherflux Reservoir, Soul of Eternity, and the hard win on Halo Fountain. Trostani accelerates life totals and offers activated populate, but the 99 already carries parallel gain triggers, token makers, and populate effects, so the deck is not locked to the command zone. Average MV is high (~3.58), so the deck develops through fair ramp into a late-midgame crush rather than explosive combo turns.
