Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Superfriends and Counters Stompy strategy commanded by Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. Vorinclex's static ability doubles the counters placed on your permanents, allowing planeswalkers to enter the battlefield with twice their printed starting loyalty. This lets major threats like Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Nissa, Ascended Animist, Garruk, Caller of Beasts, and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon immediately activate their ultimate abilities the turn they enter. Supported by a robust suite of green ramp, the deck establishes its commander by Turn 5 and follows up with overwhelming board states. In addition to powering your own engines, Vorinclex passively halves counters placed by opponents, completely shutting down opposing planeswalkers, sagas, and counter strategies. Massive card-draw spells and resilient protection spells ensure the deck smoothly converts its board advantage into decisive combat victories.
