Shilgengar, Sire of Famine by user7264073

Format: Commander

Commander: Shilgengar, Sire of Famine

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shilgengar, Sire of Famine leads an Orzhov Angel tribe built around stacking flying bodies, gaining life, and grinding value through sacrifice and mass reanimation. The commander's two abilities enable the primary plan: sacrifice Angels to generate large clumps of Blood tokens, then spend three mana and six Blood to return every creature in the graveyard to the battlefield with finality counters. Lyra Dawnbringer and Sephara, Sky's Blade make the Angel army a lethal, resilient combat force, while Firja's Retribution provides the only true mass double-strike finisher. Secondary paths include steady evasive chip damage and graveyard-based recursion engines like Emeria Shepherd and Scavenger's Talent. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built to maximize Shilgengar's recursion.
