Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul tribal aggro strategy helmed by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The game plan revolves around deploying Kibo and an army of Apes, Monkeys, and Changelings, then generating Banana tokens for all players. Whenever opponents sacrifice their Bananas for mana, or when the deck forcibly destroys opposing artifacts, Kibo puts +1/+1 counters on every Ape and Monkey you control. Counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Primal Vigor rapidly accelerate this power growth. High-synergy interaction cards like Gorilla Shaman and Echoing Ruin efficiently destroy artifact tokens to trigger massive team-wide buffs. As the board swells, trample enablers and damage amplifiers such as Unnatural Growth, Flopsie, Bumi's Buddy, and Kessig Wolf Run convert raw power into an overwhelming combat finish. While vulnerable to creature board wipes and lacking blue stack interaction, the deck provides high pressure and steady attrition against artifact-heavy tables.
