Deck overview

This Azorius group-hug control deck forces opponents to draw and then punishes them for it. Kwain, Itinerant Meddler gives you a repeatable tap to make each player draw, which triggers Smothering Tithe, Rhystic Study, Consecrated Sphinx, The Council of Four, and Psychosis Crawler effects. You win by casting Approach of the Second Sun twice with Mystical Tutor and Windfall, by decking yourself with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac, by draining with Psychosis Crawler and Scrawling Crawler, or by milling with Folio of Fancies. Mind Over Matter plus Kwain and Jace's Archivist forms a discard-to-untap loop. Pillowfort cards like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Peacekeeper, and Elesh Norn buy time. The hidden engine is Consecrated Sphinx, which doubles draws and combos with Wedding Ring for infinite draws on your turn.
