Negative Outlook On Life by legobumb

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch leads a Jund -1/-1 counter deck that masterfully blends control, aristocrats, and combo strategies. The primary game plan is to distribute -1/-1 counters across the board, turning removal and combat into massive card advantage. When counters are placed on your own creatures, Auntie Ool draws you cards; when placed on opponents' creatures, she drains their life totals. The deck features powerful wither and proliferate synergies that lock down opposing boards while fueling explosive, infinite combo finishes. While Auntie Ool provides a highly efficient draw engine from the command zone, the deck does not suffer from extreme commander dependency. Redundant engines like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and The Scorpion God allow the deck to pivot seamlessly, maintaining a terrifying board presence and grinding down opponents even if the commander is repeatedly removed.
