Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari midrange combat strategy centered on partner commanders Bebop, Skull & Crossbones and Rocksteady, Mutant Marauder. The core game plan establishes a smooth curve: Bebop enters early, searches up Rocksteady, and begins collecting +1/+1 counters whenever subsequent nontoken creatures enter the battlefield. Bebop converts these counters into massive card draw upon dealing combat damage, refilling your hand while buffing your board. The deck then accelerates into scaling threats and counter amplifiers such as Corpsejack Menace, Branching Evolution, Innkeeper's Talent, and Railway Brawler. Once critical mass is reached on Turn 6, wide trampling attackers and game-ending overruns like End-Raze Forerunners and Decimator of the Provinces overwhelm opposing life totals over two to three combat cycles. Equipment like Conqueror's Flail and Commander's Plate shields your commanders from disruption during your attack steps, ensuring high-power tramplers consistently close out the game.
