Deck overview

Grixis amass/aristocrats deck whose primary plan is to grow one Army token with amass permanents and spells, refuel through Sauron's Ring-tempt draw-four, and close via double-strike/trample combat or mass drain. Saruman, the White Hand acts as a hidden commander, scaling the Army with every noncreature spell. Sacrifice outlets and death triggers-Phyrexian Altar, Goblin Bombardment, Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance-turn creature losses into mana, cards, and reach. Sauron doubles as both card advantage and a 7/6 ward beater. There is no infinite combo; victories come from incremental token damage, Living Death recursion, a large Assault on Osgiliath, or Torment of Hailfire.
