Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange strategy helmed by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge, focusing on experience counter accumulation and Eldrazi token swarms. The mana base leverages full fetchland and shockland parity alongside triomes to ensure consistent access to all five colors. Early turns focus on establishing repeatable token engines like Awakening Zone and From Beyond, which provide sacrifice fodder that simultaneously ramps mana and stacks experience counters. Mid-game turns deploy cross-synergy commanders such as Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Ezuri, Claw of Progress, and Otharri, Suns' Glory to compound board presence and counter generation. The primary win condition activates Azlask's WUBRG ability to grant massive stat buffs, indestructible, and annihilator 1 to Eldrazi Scions and Spawns, decimating opposing boards and closing out the game through combat damage. Robust recursion from Karador, Ghost Chieftain ensures sustained pressure even through heavy interaction.
