Deck overview

This Patron of the Moon deck is a mono-blue combo-control strategy built around Moonfolk land-bounce synergies and infinite landfall loops. The primary objective is to assemble Patron alongside an untap effect such as Amulet of Vigor or Tiller Engine and a bounce land like Guildless Commons or Arid Archway. Once in play, Patron activates for one mana to drop the bounce land, which untaps, taps for two mana, and bounces itself to produce infinite mana and infinite enter-the-battlefield triggers. The deck converts this loop into an immediate same-turn victory through Altar of the Brood, Ruin Crab, or Sunscorched Desert. A dense web of artifact, creature, and transmute tutors ensures consistent access to every combo component. Meanwhile, asymmetric resource denial spells like Mana Breach, Overburden, Storm Cauldron, and Sunder slow down opponents while Patron easily breaks parity. Backed by free counterspells like Thwart, the deck combines resilient control with explosive combo potential.
