Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Kindred Landfall strategy commanded by Thranduil, Sindarin Liege. It pairs traditional green-blue ramp and landfall mechanics with an aggressive go-wide Elf token plan. In the early game, cheap mana dorks and land-fetch spells accelerate Thranduil onto the battlefield by Turn 3. The deck then uses landfall triggers to create 1/1 Elf tokens that enter as 2/2s thanks to Thranduil's anthem. Card draw engines like Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Curiosity Crafter, and Bident of Thassa refill the hand as tokens connect in combat. Once a critical mass of creatures is established by Turn 5 or 6, the deck resolves massive combat buffs such as Overrun, Unnatural Growth, Banner of Kinship, or Spider-Man, Miles Morales to trample over blockers and eliminate opponents in one to two combat cycles. Reactive counterspells and Selfless Safewright provide protection against opposing board wipes.
