Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm is the deck's Treasure engine and card-draw magnet: his ETB counts opponents' artifacts, and every Treasure-funded spell replaces itself. The deck amplifies those tokens with Academy Manufactor, Goldspan Dragon, and Xorn, then turns them into life loss through Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, and Marionette Apprentice. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a tutor to find Hellkite Tyrant for the 20-artifact alternate win. Smaug the Magnificent lurks in the 99 as a second Dragon finisher. The plan is to hit critical mass quickly, protect the commander with Lightning Greaves, and close with artifact-count or burn.
