VIVI Ocarana of Burn by Theverb

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is a single-faced Izzet commander who acts as both a ritual and a drain payoff: she turns noncreature casts into +1/+1 counters, mana, and ping damage. The deck's primary plan is to assemble Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and use two untap-friendly mana rocks, typically Sol Ring plus a Signet or Talisman, to create a self-sustaining loop. Each Scepter copy is a noncreature spell, so every iteration triggers Vivi to deal 1 damage to each opponent, killing the table. A secondary path makes infinite mana through the same loop, then uses Staff of Domination to draw the library and finish with Banefire. Recursion via Goblin Welder, Goblin Engineer, Emry, and Academy Ruins keeps the artifact engine resilient.
