Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund -1/-1 counter and aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy revolves around placing -1/-1 counters across both friendly and opposing boards to generate massive card advantage, suppress opposing creatures, and drain life totals. Early turns establish mana acceleration and self-blight enablers like Scuzzback Scrounger and Devoted Druid, allowing Auntie Ool to hit the battlefield on Turn 3. Mid-game turns assemble compounding engines with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Blowfly Infestation, which turn every dead creature into cascading counter placement and fresh tokens. Payoffs such as Obelisk Spider, Bastion of Remembrance, and All Will Be One convert these engine loops into lethal life loss while Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night lock down opposing creature combat. The deck closes games around Turn 6 with resilience backed by recursive engines and high redundancy.
