Deck overview

This is a Selesnya lifegain +1/+1 counters deck built around Treebeard, Gracious Host. The game plan is to generate repeated life gain triggers - from ETB effects like Soul Warden and Essence Warden, combat lifelink, and incidental sources - then use those triggers to pile +1/+1 counters on the commander and other synergistic creatures. Treebeard, Gracious Host itself gains counters whenever you gain life, has trample and ward {2}, and creates two Food tokens on entry. The deck accelerates its counter placement with Hardened Scales and Conclave Mentor, draws cards through life-gain-based engines like Exemplar of Light and The Gaffer, and finishes opponents with a massively trampling, often double-striking creature (via Akroma's Will or Twinblade Blessing). There are no infinite combos; victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage. The deck is slow and incremental, aiming to outvalue opponents over many turns.
