Draw Hug by FireSword

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Nekusar, the Mindrazer wheel-and-punish deck built around forcing opponents to draw extra cards and converting every draw into damage. The core loop pairs forced-draw permanents like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, Spiteful Visions, and Jace Beleren with draw-punishers like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, Razorkin Needlehead, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Orcish Bowmasters, then detonates wheel effects - Wheel of Fortune, Dark Deal, Winds of Change, Whispering Madness, Magus of the Wheel - to dump seven cards into each opponent's hand at once. The deck wins through cumulative damage, with alternate lines in Triskaidekaphile (thirteen cards in hand) and Thassa's Oracle after a self-targeted Peer into the Abyss. Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Harmonic Prodigy form a secondary draw-and-ping engine, while Wizard's Staff doubles Nekusar's trigger for double damage.
