Kumena, Tap Dancer by dumebuggy

Format: Commander

Commander: Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Merfolk tribal strategy helmed by Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca. The primary game plan is to flood the battlefield with Merfolk tokens and lords, then use Kumena's tap abilities to draw cards and make the team unblockable. The deck generates a wide board through token engines like Deeproot Waters, Emperor Mihail II, Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, and Reflections of Littjara, while a dense suite of lords (Lord of Atlantis, Master of the Pearl Trident, Merfolk Mistbinder) turns the swarm into a lethal clock. A secondary combo line uses Intruder Alarm and Cryptolith Rite with Kumena to generate infinite mana and draw, then Finale of Devastation for X=10 to finish. With strong card flow from Kindred Discovery and Hakbal of the Surging Soul, plus a robust untap package, the deck plays a resilient midrange value game that can overwhelm through combat or a single explosive turn.
