Beorn - Bears by tbgorilla

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce is a mono-green Bear tribal commander who functions as both a lord and a card-draw engine. The deck's primary plan is to develop cheap Bears and changelings, use Beorn's three-Bear draw trigger to keep the hand full, then finish with an overrun effect: Unnatural Growth, Become the Avalanche, or a critical-mass trample swing. Secondary paths use Ayula and fight spells to control the board, Ruxa and token recursion to rebuild, and Roaming Throne to multiply triggers. Ayula acts as a hidden secondary commander. The deck is straightforward, creature-heavy, and vulnerable to board wipes, but it has consistent ramp and a large number of cards that count as Bears.
