Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a lethal combo-control list that pairs fast, compact win conditions with asymmetric resource denial. Headed by Kefka, Court Mage, the deck uses discard and draw punishment engines such as Waste Not, Notion Thief, Orcish Bowmasters, and Oppression to drain opponent resources while generating card advantage. Its primary route to victory is the compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation sequence, supported by redundant backup combos in Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame and Underworld Breach with Brain Freeze. Fast mana rituals, low-cost counterspells, and protective pieces like Hexing Squelcher shield critical stack interactions. The deck thrives by controlling early board pace, disrupting opposing development with efficient removal and tax effects, and pivoting into an instant stack-based win as early as Turn 4.
