Deck overview

This is a mono-green Hydra tribal stompy deck helmed by Gargos, Vicious Watcher. The plan is straightforward: ramp hard, cast Gargos to discount every Hydra by {4}, then flood the board with enormous X-spells and counter-doublers until combat ends the game. Gargos also converts any targeted spell on your creatures into free fights, giving the deck incidental removal while it develops. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat damage amplified by Kalonian Hydra, Unnatural Growth, Overwhelming Stampede, and multiplayer reach from Hydra Omnivore. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by turning large bodies sideways. Gargos is important for the discount and fight triggers but the 99 still functions as a classic green ramp-stompy list if he is answered.
