Deck overview

This deck is a five-color control build that blends a Superfriends strategy with a dedicated Polymorph engine led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By running only three high-utility creatures in the 99—Deepglow Skate, Displacer Kitten, and Spark Double—the deck turns cheap creature tokens into devastating game pieces. Low-cost token engines like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive provide consistent fodder for Jace's -3 ability or spells like Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny. Once a dominant planeswalker such as Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God or Ugin, the Spirit Dragon enters the battlefield, Deepglow Skate quickly pushes loyalty counters into ultimate range. Meanwhile, an extensive suite of low-cost mana rocks ensures smooth five-color fixing, and Jace's built-in combat tax forces opponents to pay mana before attacking. A deep suite of spot removal, asymmetric hand disruption, and board wipes keeps the table suppressed until planeswalker emblems and combat damage close out the game.
