Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, focusing on token generation, creature sacrifice, and gradual life drain. The early game establishes board presence with low-cost fodder creatures like Squirrelanoids and Undead Butler. On Turn 3, Sephiroth enters the battlefield, initiating a card-draw and drain engine on Turn 4 attacks. The mid-game focuses on engineering a multi-death turn using sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer or sweepers like Toxic Deluge to resolve Sephiroth's death trigger four times in a single turn. This transforms Sephiroth into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel and grants the permanent Super Nova emblem. Once the emblem is active, mass death triggers combined with Mirkwood Bats and Zulaport Cutthroat rapidly deplete opponents' life totals, closing out the game around Turn 9.
