Hobbit Elf Deck V1 by JBernard95

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf-ball deck that uses the graveyard as a second hand. The primary plan is to ramp with one-drop Elves, cast Thranduil on turn three, then use cards like Buried Alive, Entomb, and Ripples of Undeath to stock key Elves - Marwyn, Devoted Druid, Tyvar, and Jarad - so Thranduil can use their activated abilities from the graveyard. The deck draws two and discards one off legendary Elves, turning that into a value engine. Secondary paths are an Elvish lord/overrun kill through Ezuri or Tyvar and a Jarad/Lathril drain. There is no double-faced commander; the closest hidden-commander subtheme is Maralen, Fae Ascendant, but the list is not warped around her.
