Deck overview

Grixis amass deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a draw engine and Army grower. The primary plan is to create one large Army with Dreadhorde Invasion and amass spells, then kill with a pumped, evasive Army using Assault on Osgiliath, Orcish Siegemaster, and Mauhur. Sauron's Ring-tempt draw-four fuels the graveyard for Wonder, Anger, and reanimation. Secondary paths are Sauron, Lord of the Rings as a cast-trigger finisher and a Wraith plan with Lord of the Nazgul and Nazgul. There is no true hidden commander; Sauron, Lord of the Rings and Saruman, the White Hand are support engines. The deck is midrange and wins through incremental combat rather than combo.
