Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy build designed to exploit the aggressive cost-reduction mechanic of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. By deploying hyper-efficient, high-power low-CMC creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable on Turns 2 and 3, the deck routinely reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just {G}{G} by Turn 4. Once Ghalta enters the battlefield, the deck converts its massive 12-power body into overwhelming resource advantage through explosive draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Life's Legacy. Victory is achieved through devastating trample combat steps enhanced by overruns such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to mass exile effects and lacking non-creature stack interaction, the deck's high creature redundancy, robust instant-speed protection suite, and rapid recovery times allow it to relentlessly pressure the table.
