Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya tribal aggressive deck commanded by Kyler, Sigardian Emissary. The game plan revolves around flooding the board with cheap Humans and Human creature tokens using cards like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Increasing Devotion, and Call the Coppercoats. When Kyler, Sigardian Emissary hits the battlefield, every subsequent Human entering places a +1/+1 counter on Kyler, providing a static anthem to the entire Human team that scales exponentially. Secondary anthems and evasion enablers such as Champion of Lambholt, Goldnight Commander, and Sigarda, Champion of Light ensure that token waves turn lethal in short order. While the deck possesses explosive combat potency and resilient defensive spells like Rootborn Defenses and Duty Beyond Death, its reliance on combat damage and vulnerability to well-timed board wipes require careful sequencing and resource management.
