Deck overview

This Golgari deck is helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer and focuses on aristocrats synergy, lifegain, and token attrition. The primary strategy revolves around producing disposable creature tokens such as Pests, Eldrazi Spawn, and Saprolings using cards like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, and Beledros Witherbloom. Once fodder is established, Dina provides consistent card advantage and lifegain triggers while pieces like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Defiling Daemogoth incrementally burn down opponents. The deck transitions into a lethal closing phase around turn 7 by resolving game-ending overruns like Blossoming Bogbeast or continuous buff engines such as Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. While it boasts strong card flow and flexible removal options like Assassin's Trophy and Toxic Deluge, it suffers from a lack of countermagic and protective shielding, making its permanent-heavy board state vulnerable to opposing sweepers and graveyard hate.
