Deck overview

This Naya deck commands Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER to execute an aggressive, tempo-positive Equipment strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying powerful Equipment in the opening turns, casting Cloud on curve to cheat equip costs with his enter trigger, and immediately attacking with haste to generate card draw and Treasure tokens. Once Cloud reaches 7 or more power through weapons like Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, or Wrecking Ball Arm, the deck applies immense single-target pressure while accelerating into secondary threats like Sephiroth, Fallen Hero, Vincent, Vengeful Atoner, and Tifa, Martial Artist. The deck compensates for a lack of tutors with high equipment redundancy and robust historic graveyard recursion from Forge Anew, Aerith, Last Ancient, and Elena, Turk Recruit. While vulnerable to instant-speed spot removal and creature sweepers, instant-speed protection like Clever Concealment and Ultimate Magic: Holy helps preserve the board, allowing the deck to close games through combat by turns 6 to 7.
