The Most Dangerous Pillowfort by user7299841

Format: Commander

Commander: Bruna, the Fading Light

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bruna, the Fading Light is the only commander card, but the deck is built to use the Brisela back face: Gisela, the Broken Blade sits in the 99 as the hidden meld piece, and Bruna's cast trigger reanimates an Angel or Human. The primary plan is a white pillow-fort/tax shell - Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, Archangel of Tithes, Norn's Annex - that buys time to reach seven mana, cast Bruna, and meld with Gisela into Brisela, Voice of Nightmares. If the meld is not assembled, the deck pivots to recursive Angel beatdown (Avacyn, Emeria Shepherd) and Eldrazi finishers such as Ulamog and Void Winnower. Speed is sacrificed for inevitability.
