Deck overview

This Golgari deck is a deathtouch-and-poison aggro deck. The primary plan is to play cheap deathtouch creatures, attack players, and use Fynn, the Fangbearer as a hidden commander to convert each hit into two poison counters. The Serpent Society is a resilient 3/4 deathtouch attacker whose ward poison tax discourages removal and whose death trigger forces sacrifices. Secondary paths are Triumph of the Hordes for a mass-infect swing, Vraska the Unseen's assassin-token ultimate, and life-loss creatures like Dire Fleet Ravager and Unstoppable Slasher. The deck wins through combat damage and attrition, with recursion and protection to rebuild after wipes.
